There isn't much happening at my job. One of my co-workers has indirectly accused me of writing a certian word on their car and is trying to get people, who I have come to call as friends, to get me to admit that I wrote on their car. Going so far as to say that I walk past it every day on my way to work and that they 'have no enemies'. I really doubt that last bit. There isn't a whole lot I can do abotu that, my mum says I should go to a Super or a Manager and let them know what's going on. But really, all that would do, is enforce that persons thought that I really did write on their car. And I really think that it's childish and so highschool. Drama much?
There's a lot of bitterness from me to that person. Mum thinks they have it our for me. Which, I'm starting ot think is true. On another note, two of my bosses asked me if I could come in on my days off, the ones where you specifically ask to NOT work those days. I just lol'd in my head. There was NO way I'm gonna go to work on my days off. Although, should they be short staffed and I have nothing planned, I'd consider it.
Other then that, work has been great. I've got to reconnect a little with my other co-workers in the Cashier department when I have Cash shifts. which, aren't often and only four hours long. Which, by the by, I'm totally fine with. Couldn't stand more then four hours being a Cashier. Mostly the politics and not being able to drink BOTTLED water because water in a bottle will somehow fuck the register up.
~{News From the Homestead}~
Alreet, there's not much to be said about the homestead, just that my basement/suit is very close to completion. Just need to paint one wall, put the arbrite on my counter - that's that pretty coloured counter top thing -. I also need to get a fridge, a small t' medium sized one as I probably wont be bringing it with me wherever I go. I've already got a mini fridge in my room. We've still got the Upper cabinets to put up, but, that'll be a breeze, about a days work. I'm still excited abotu having my own place. I have so much more freedom and even more so, privacy. I adore my privacy so much.
~{Giving and Sharing}~
I've recently taken to giving out Points or subscriptions to people that are either running our, or haven't gotten one ever. I think that it'd be nice to just give random people subs and points because it's always nice to do so. And I urge all of you, those that have the money, and sometimes, those that don't, even if it's just a point, or a month sub. It could make the day of a random deviant and that's what I'm aiming for. Making people happy on this wonderful site. I think it's just the shiniest thing ever. And more people should be nice and sharing. So utterly fantastic.
~{Other News}~
I officially went to my very first ComicCon. It was such a blast! I didnt' even know that Seattle was hosting it, so, when someone in Pike Place - a marketplace of all types - said there was this ComicCon, I immediately told my mum that we should go and check it out. I was not disappointed. I got to see some of the Dark Horse creators, and if I had stayed in a massive line-up, could have gotten Stan Lee's autograph. But, I did get a few awesome pictures, a shirt and a Spike ornament.
Bloody Spike is a character from the hit TV show Buffy The Vampire Slayer. He was originally William Pratt, a poet until Drusilla bit and turned him, he went by William the Bloody for his Bloody awful poety and later on, became the Spike we all love and adore.
I would like to let alla y'all know that this April Fools Day has been such a blast! I've gone to so many deivnats pages giving them Llama Badges and at times, points. I'm nearly out of the points too! this has been one of the funnest days I've had n dA and dAmn. So, thankyou guys for giving all of us on dA an aweosme day. Team GaGa is for the win. Fyi.
